Nieuwpoort's big end-of-summer street festival: braderie (10:00-18:00), funfair on the Zeedijk, charity fish-frying record attempt, and concerts including Ian Thomas, Gers Pardoel and Holliz. Kids disco and Vlaanderen Zingt sing-along on Sunday.

Traditional folklore: a one-hour walk with Saint Bernard dogs (and everyone's own dogs) starting with a blessing on the square. Fun family spectacle.

The town page contradicts itself on the date: its 'Wanneer' block says Saturday 5 September 2026, 18:00-23:59, while the text says 'Op zaterdag 6 september vanaf 18 uur' — and 6 September 2026 is a Sunday.
