KruwerFestijn Folklore Festival
Markt, Wenduine (De Haan)
Folklore festival of the 'kruwers' (traditional shrimp pushers) on the Markt of Wenduine, not the De Haan centre square. Shrimp-pushing contest for adults on the beach by the Rotonde 09:15 to 10:45, parade from the beach to the Markt at 11:15, weighing of the catch at 12:00, cooking and handing out shrimp at 15:00, peeling demonstration at 16:00. Free.
