Frequently asked questions

What's on at the coast today?

Kustplanner opens on today: every event of the day, from De Panne to Knokke-Heist, with times and locations.

Is Kustplanner free?

Yes. Free, and no account needed.

Which seaside towns does Kustplanner cover?

The whole coast: De Panne, Koksijde, Nieuwpoort, Middelkerke, Ostend, Bredene, De Haan, Blankenberge, Zeebrugge, Knokke-Heist, plus Veurne and Diksmuide.

Can I save or share my plan?

Yes: save it as a file, send it to your calendar (.ics), print it, or share it via a link.

Is there a Kustplanner app?

No, not yet — but you can add the site to your home screen like an app. On iPhone or iPad: open kustplanner.be in Safari, tap the share icon and choose "Add to Home Screen". On Android: open the site in Chrome, tap the three dots and choose "Add to Home screen". You get an icon that opens the site straight away, full screen.

Your plan lives in this browser. Use Save as file to keep it as a JSON you can load again later (or on another device), Send to calendar for an .ics that opens in Outlook or Google Calendar, or Print for paper.

Check before you drive. Events marked Confirm first come from sources that disagree, and a ? badge means we could not confirm a filter you switched on — the event's own website has the last word.

Privacy: no cookies, no accounts. Your plan and settings are stored only in this browser (localStorage) and are never sent to a server — nothing about you is collected.

Event data is compiled from the coastal towns' own tourism agendas and coast-wide listings; every event links to its source where one is known. All events on this site are collected and categorised with AI. AI can make mistakes — if you want to be sure, check the planning details on the original website.
